Fibrowatt plants provide poultry farmers with a needed alternative for the management of poultry litter. They offer an attractive, year-round alternative to land application of poultry litter, a valuable service for one of the nation’s largest poultry producing states. This service benefits the environment in the area by decreasing the spreading of surplus poultry litter, which in turn reduces nutrient impacts on the region’s soil and water resources.
